The CompTIA A+ Core Series requires candidates to pass two exams: Core 1 (220-1101) and Core 2 (220-1102) covering the following new content, emphasizing the technologies and skills IT pros need to support a hybrid workforce.
- Increased reliance on SaaS applications for remote work
- More on troubleshooting and how to remotely diagnose and correct common software, hardware, or connectivity problems
- Changing core technologies from cloud virtualization and IoT device security to data management and scripting
- Multiple operating systems now encountered by technicians on a regular basis, including the major systems, their use cases, and how to keep them running properly
- Reflects the changing nature of the job role, where many tasks are sent to specialized providers as certified personnel need to assess whether it’s best to fix something on site, or to save time and money by sending proprietary technologies directly to vendors
The goal is to create 6 tests of 90 questions (full exam simulations) for exam A+ 202-1102. We will then update the tests to the most up-to-date versions gradually replacing the obsolete tests (for 90% of the questions they are compatible with the latest version). By signing up today you will have access to ever new simulations as they are published. In the construction phase, high marks and suggestions are welcome. The questions and answers are in English. The suggestions have been written in the target language of the course to facilitate student understanding and to better analyze errors, but questions and answers are in the original language (English). All contents and answers have been checked against the original CompTIA manual. The pass threshold has been set at 80%, but the compTIA A+ exam also includes scenario simulations (not in the test) and scoring is difficult to calculate. We are working on the realization of the practical test of the second core comptia exam A+ 220-1102, in order to cover both exams. In the future, the goal is to create a simulator for each CompTIA exam containing 4 practice tests.
