What you'll learn

Pass the CCSK v5 exam using original exam-style questions written to the current published curriculum
Explain cloud computing concepts, architectures and the shared responsibility model across service and deployment models
Apply governance, risk, compliance and audit practice to cloud environments, including provider assessment and contractual controls
Design identity and access management for cloud: federation, single sign-on, entitlement management, workload identity and least privilege
Secure data properly through classification, encryption, key management, tokenization and data lifecycle controls
Architect secure cloud infrastructure and networking, including segmentation, zero-trust patterns and resilience
Secure workloads and applications: containers, orchestration, serverless, APIs and DevSecOps pipelines
Run cloud security operations — telemetry, monitoring, detection, incident response and recovery
Address AI and generative AI workloads, which this version added and earlier material does not cover

Course Description

Pass the CCSK v5 exam on your first attempt.

The CCSK is the vendor-neutral cloud security credential, and that is exactly why hiring managers weight it. It does not certify that you can configure one provider's console. It certifies that you can reason about cloud risk, architecture and compliance in any environment — which is the skill that transfers when your organisation adds a second cloud provider, or when you change jobs.

Check your material's version first. Version 5 reorganised the curriculum substantially: the domain structure was consolidated, the mobile and IoT material was retired, and AI and generative AI workloads were added as a new area alongside deeper zero-trust and DevSecOps coverage. A great deal of the study material still circulating targets the previous version, which means it is wrong about both what is tested and how it is grouped.

Now the part most candidates get wrong. The exam is open book — and that fact ruins more attempts than it saves. The pass threshold is one of the highest in the industry, the questions demand critical thinking rather than lookup, and the clock does not care that you have the reference documents open. If you are searching a PDF, you have already lost that question. Candidates who treat "open book" as a substitute for knowing the material make up a large share of the people who fail.

What you get

  • Full-length practice tests that mirror the structure, difficulty and pacing of the live exam

  • A detailed explanation on every single question — every option addressed individually, because the wrong answers here are usually defensible security positions that fail against a specific principle

  • Coverage across all current domains: cloud computing concepts and architectures, governance, risk, compliance and audit, organisation management, identity and access management, security monitoring, infrastructure and networking, cloud workload security, data security, application security, incident response and resilience, and related and emerging technologies

  • Version-current content including AI and generative AI workloads, zero trust and modern DevSecOps practice

  • Critical-thinking questions rather than lookup questions, matching an exam you cannot pass by searching

  • Practice under time pressure, so the clock stops being the reason you fail

  • Vendor-neutral throughout, as the exam is — no assumption that you work on a particular provider

  • Kept current with the published guidance

  • Unlimited retakes, randomized question order, mobile-friendly, lifetime access

How to use this course

Read the official guidance document first and properly — most exam answers derive from it, and it is freely available. Then sit the first test cold and timed, with nothing open. Do not look anything up, and accept that the score will be lower than you expect; that gap is the whole reason to practise. Read every explanation, including on questions you answered correctly. Where a domain stays shaky, go back to that section of the guidance rather than to a summary of it. Repeat until you clear the pass bar comfortably with time to spare — comfortably matters here, because the threshold leaves very little margin.

Worth knowing: there are no prerequisites, and the certificate does not expire. It is also the standard foundation before the more advanced cloud security credentials, and it opens onto the controls matrix and assurance registry work that follows from it.

Before you enroll

You should have basic familiarity with networking, security fundamentals and at least one cloud environment. This is a practice bank for testing and consolidating knowledge, not a substitute for reading the guidance. Every question here is original and written from the current published curriculum. These are not brain dumps. This course is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Cloud Security Alliance. CCSK is a trademark of its respective owner.

Who this course is for:

  • Anyone preparing for the Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) exam
  • Security professionals moving from traditional infrastructure security into cloud
  • Cloud engineers and architects who need to defend their designs on security grounds
  • GRC, audit and compliance practitioners assessing cloud providers and cloud risk
  • DevSecOps practitioners who want a vendor-neutral credential recognised across employers
  • Candidates planning to continue to advanced cloud security certifications, starting here
  • Candidates whose study material targets the previous version and needs updating
