Marketing automation is normally sold as a platform choice. You pick a system, configure the flows, pay monthly, and then discover the system does exactly what its designers imagined and nothing else. Anything sideways needs an integration, a developer and a second subscription. That stopped being the only option about two years ago. A model, a set of connectors and a scheduler now let you assemble the process you actually need, without code and without an engineering team, for less than one seat costs. That is what these forty-one lessons teach, and the reason the demonstrations are HR workflows is that a people function has an unusual amount of repetitive document work — which makes it easy to show a whole system being built rather than a fragment.

What this course covers

The surface first: the site as an entry point, referrals, chatbots and tracking, email, search, video, copy, paid placement with analytics configured before the spend, each social platform, and monthly reporting. Then three assistants taken apart one at a time: what each does and refuses to do, generation and document analysis, working with spreadsheets and asking the right questions of your own data, standing instructions for repeated tasks, security when the material is not yours, and the platform layer of Skills, connectors, batch document generation and work inside spreadsheets and slides. Then the core of the course — building your own system: where Projects, Skills, plugins and connectors live, a first project with its own knowledge base and four Skills written in SKILL file format, then seven more projects covering intake, structured review, a content factory, calculation with outlier checks and generated documents on a signature route, and a chat assistant that closes most routine questions with a link to the exact source — and finally packing twenty-plus Skills into one plugin with a manifest that installs across a team in one command. Then agents that act rather than answer: permissions and security, the anatomy of a request that does not fail, an agent operating inside a browser, computer use for systems with no API, report assembly with plugin access scopes, scheduled automations with checks, failure alerts and rollbacks, and orchestration of several agents with context handoff. Finally the frame: what exists today, integration into existing systems, change management, data security and ethics, machines in the physical workspace, and a readiness checklist.

What you are translating, and what you are not

You are translating nouns. A Skill that screens incoming documents against criteria screens applications or inbound leads with the same three lines changed. A project that generates a welcome pack generates an onboarding sequence for a new client. A scheduled agent that assembles a headcount report assembles a campaign report from the same connectors. What you are not translating is the architecture — Projects, SKILL file, connectors, scheduling, human checkpoints, audit logs and multi-agent handoff behave identically whatever the task is. If you want a course where the screen shows your own industry, this is not it, and you should know that now rather than in section seven.
