Course Description

Realism sees education as a tool for preparing people to confront the real world. Education seeks to instill information, skills, and values that may be used in daily life and suit the requirements of people. Realism is Aristotle's conviction that there is an absolute reality, and educational realism seeks to educate pupils how to discover that truth via logical procedures. A realist classroom emphasizes the study of the natural world, inquiry skills, and the scientific process. The realist education approach emphasizes acquiring information via the senses, in line with the child's nature and ability to see and experience. The instructor presents the facts to the kid as they exist. He is expected to present the information accurately. Realists think that humans are not essentially good, but rather selfish and competitive. This viewpoint, espoused by thinkers such as Thomas Hobbes, regards human nature as egocentric (but necessarily selfish) and conflictual unless there are circumstances under which people may cohabit. The phenomenal world is real; there is nothing beyond this world. Ross defines realism as "accepting only the reality of the external world." That is why it is the opponent of subjective idealism.prosperous Life: The primary goal of realistic education is to educate students for a happy and prosperous life.
