The following topics are covered in this course:
The first chapter describes the risk of death to a family or a business. Chapter 2 talks about term life insurance, which is a type of insurance that has an end date. Chapter 3 describes whole life and term 100 types of permanent insurance. Chapter 4 talks about universal life, and investment products. Chapter 5 describes riders and the supplementary benefits of life insurance. Chapter 6 is a description of the group life insurance. Chapter 7 describes taxation issues in life insurance. Chapter 8 is business life insurance, Chapter 9 describes the process of applying for life insurance and how the insurance company evaluates it using the underwriting standards. Chapter 10 assesses the client’s situation. Chapter 11 describes how to undertake a needs analysis to determine the right type of insurance and chapter 12 has detail about ongoing service and the agent’s role.
