The Microsoft MS-100 course is part of the Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert certification program. The course is designed to provide IT professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to manage Office 365 identities and services.
The course covers a wide range of topics, including:
- Managing Azure AD and AD users and groups
- Implementing and managing hybrid identities
- Managing access and authentication
- Configuring and managing Office 365 workloads such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Skype for Business Online
- Managing Office 365 security and compliance
Throughout the course, students will learn how to use the Microsoft 365 admin center and other tools to manage Office 365 identities and services. They will also learn best practices for deploying and configuring Office 365 services, as well as how to troubleshoot and resolve common issues.
The course is typically delivered in a classroom or online format, and may include hands-on labs, quizzes, and other interactive activities to help students learn and apply the material. Upon completion of the course, students will have the knowledge and skills needed to pass the MS-100: Microsoft 365 Identity and Services exam and become Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.
The MS-100: Microsoft 365 Identity and Services exam is a Microsoft certification exam that consists of 40-60 multiple-choice and drag-and-drop questions. The exam is designed to test the candidate’s knowledge and skills in managing Office 365 identities and services.
The exam is timed, and the candidate will have around 180 minutes (3 hours) to complete it. The questions on the exam are designed to measure the candidate’s ability to perform various tasks related to managing Office 365 identities and services, such as configuring and managing Office 365 workloads, managing Azure AD and AD users and groups, and implementing and managing hybrid identities, among others.
The MS-100 exam is one of the two exams required to earn the Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert certification, the other one is MS-101: Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security.
The passing score for the MS-100: Microsoft 365 Identity and Services exam is 700 out of a possible 1000 points. This means that to pass the exam, a candidate must score at least a 70% on the exam. The exam is scored on a scale of 100-1000, with a minimum passing score of 700.

Additionally, passing this exam does not guarantee that you will be certified, as it is one of the two exams required to earn the Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert certification. The other one is MS-101: Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security.
